Have you ever wondered what those perforated pebbles are you find when walking along the beach … well they are Hagstones. For those lucky enough to discover one along our shores, these holed stones are said to protect against evil spirits and curses or to provide insights into hidden realms through divination.
Our friends at Novocastrian have reinterpreted them into ‘The Hagstones’, a beautiful collection of tables with their signature sculpted metal finishes… and Britannicus has supplied all the meticulously sourced British stones.
They are designed to be clustered into unique arrangements and hand-crafted to order from the Newcastle workshop.
Each stone is skilfully hand-carved to order by talented stonemason Sean Auld. Each is truly one-of-a-kind. Each transcends mass production. A preservation of tradition, whilst pushing the boundaries of innovation.
